At TNT Post we provide many opportunities to help our employees build sustainable careers. We have proved this following the success of our end-to-end delivery service, where we have created jobs for local residents who may have been unemployed, juggling childcare commitments or a school/college leaver.    

But it’s not just the new opportunity that has been a benefit for many of our end-to-end employees. Monitoring the development of the people we have employed, watching them grow their skills and competencies into a job that they are passionate about has been the greatest outcome.

This is why we want you to know about Mike Rigby.  

Unemployed from his previous job where he was doing house removals, Mike joined us at Chiswick in February 2012 as one of the very first TNT Post Posties. Over the course of 12 –  24 months, Mike took on various other roles such as becoming a buddy, team leader and a delivery unit manager. Mike worked hard to progress his career, and today he is the Delivery Manager for North West London. His new role means he is responsible for 500 Posties, five delivery units and a ten strong management team (all who have been promoted within the company!).

It has been an amazing journey for Mike, and the passion he has shown for all his roles has really seen him grow and develop into his new role. His career path is proof that we are helping people build a sustainable career with our end-to end service as well as noticing talent and supporting it throughout.
