An article published early this year, detailing the growth of online shopping, illustrates the need for e-retailers to choose their fulfilment and delivery providers carefully.
According to the article printed in the Telegraph, online retail sales in the UK will hit £107bn – a rise of 17% from last year and breaking the £100bn mark.

On Thursday 17th July, almost 300 of Liverpool’s business leaders and entrepreneurs will be attending THE summer event for the regions business community at the iconic Sefton Park Palm House.
As part of this year’s International Festival of Business, Downtown Liverpool will be hosting the tenth Annual City of Liverpool Business Awards. The awards dinner rewards businesses who have enjoyed a period of consistent success and have made an outstanding contribution to Liverpool’s image as a place to do business.

Since starting our Apprenticeship Programme back in October 2013, we currently now have 21 apprentices in our Coatbridge, Warrington, Leeds and Bristol Depots. The apprenticeship programme, which is run in partnership with our training provider First4Skills, is aimed at young people aged 16- 24 years old, who want to start a career in a chosen field. Working towards a nationally-recognised qualification, they are able to gain practical skills and experience whilst employed and earning a wage.

Taking up a challenge to sail from Liverpool to Whitehaven via Belfast in a tall ship, without any experience, would be a daunting prospect for anyone. Having to work as a team with people you have never met before and learn to work together to win a sail race makes it that bit more overwhelming.
But not for two of our apprentices who did exactly that.
