If you weren’t already aware, here at TNT Post we are passionate about helping people build careers and change their lives for the better.  This success is proven through our End-to-End delivery service, where we have managed to create numerous flexible job roles for the unemployed and young.

We have supported many people to reach their goals, helping them develop their skills and confidence to be the best that we know they can be. 

This passion is why we are offering Mail Services Apprenticeships up to Level 2 in a paid apprenticeship scheme.   Assisted by First4Skills, the one-year scheme incorporates two qualifications – a Mail Services qualification (England) and a Distribution & Warehousing qualification (Scotland).

The apprentices will complete many day-to-day tasks from processing mail through a sorting machine, to quality checks on postcode return addresses and bagging & tagging outgoing mail.  They will have to rotate through various roles at TNT Post depots across the country, working both in teams and individually.

Each apprentice will be assigned with a mentor and a buddy from within who will guide and support them in their day-to-day activities.  Access to all the facilities, training and workplace opportunities will be provided to help them complete the programme to their fullest ability.

With all of this they will also be expected to study for their qualification portfolio and attend monthly meetings with an appointed First4Skills tutor who will review their progress, sign off units, set additional work and discuss upcoming initiatives.

Through this scheme, we are focusing on producing home grown talent for future expansion of the business, whilst also investing in young people who will either grow with the business or take their new found skills with them in a future career outside of the company.  We pride ourselves on consistency and excellence within the business, and continuously aim to attract talent with true potential.
