Lee Faulkner started working at TNT Post in June 2012, when the company started its End-to-End delivery service in to South West London.

Starting with us as a TNT Postie, Lee’s career moved on to him mentoring new posties as a Buddy. Since Christmas 2012 he has been a Team Leader at our Southfield Depot.
We caught up with Lee to ask him a few questions about himself and life at TNT Post.
1) Lee tell us a bit about yourself
After leaving school, I decided to go to college to complete a painting and decorating apprenticeship course and in between this I was working with a builder for a year. But after deciding this wasn’t what I wanted to do I was unemployed for a while. This was when I saw the job for TNT Post via my local Job Centre and applied.
2) As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up and why?
I never really knew what I wanted to do when I grew up until I left school. This was when I wanted to go into the construction industry and went to college to become a painter & decorator.
3) How long have you been at TNT Post UK?
Almost eighteen months.
4) What have been your highlights at TNT Post UK?
The boost in confidence that being here has given me. Also the chance to meet new people and to progress myself in a new career.
5) List three words you would use to describe yourself
Funny, generous and charming.
6) What has been your proudest achievement? (doesn’t have to be work related)
In all honesty, it has to be getting this job with TNT Post and becoming a Team Leader.
7) What do you enjoy the most about your job role?
Meeting different people all the time, helping my colleagues with day-to-day activities and also helping them to further their career.
8) If you were stranded on a desert island, name one person and two items that you would want with you
I’m not too demanding - a pretty woman and a supply of food and water would be good.
