TNT Post wins London Employer of the Year
TNT Post, the UK’s second largest private postal delivery company has been awarded Employer of the Year at the inaugural Mayor’s Fund for London Awards.
The award demonstrates the best understanding of the employment issues faced by young people in London.
The award was presented at a ceremony held at City Hall by Paulette Rowe, Chair of Trustees, to Sam Dawes, Hannah Leslie, Shan Jayasinghe and Tenika Reuben, TNT Post employees who are part of the recruitment, training and development and local management teams in London.
Matthew Patten, CEO of Mayor’s Fund for London said: “Congratulations to TNT Post, 2014 Employer of the Year, who has done so much to help young Londoners into work.”
Nick Wells, CEO TNT Post UK, commented: “We are delighted that the hard work our team puts into getting the long term unemployed back into work in London has been recognised. We are passionate about getting young people into sustainable employment.”
The Mayor’s Fund for London is the charity that works to give young Londoners the skills and opportunities to get a decent job and escape the threat of poverty. The Awards were set up to recognise and reward those organisations and individuals who have done the most to provide young Londoners with employment and decent prospects.
