Corporate and Social Responsibility

Partnership

At Whistl we take an active role in supporting charities that provide practical help to those suffering from hunger and homelessness in the UK and around the world.

In the UK we support Crisis, helping people to escape from the desperation of homelessness and unemployment by recruiting and training Posties. We have also worked in partnership with the United Nations’ World Food Programme, supporting their efforts to ensure school-age children in Malawi get at least one good meal a day and stay in education.

Environment

It’s vital we act responsibly where the environment is concerned. We work in partnership with you to enable you to act in an environmentally friendly way, offering services and tools that effectively reduce your footprint on the planet. We also offer you the ability to offset carbon emissions relating to the distribution and delivery of your mailings.

We continually invest in our transport fleet to help reduce hydrocarbons. We’ve converted our lorries to run on LPG and installed soot filters as well as optimising routes, loads and driver training so you can be confident your post is being carried with care for the world we live in.
