Sam Dawes, Hannah Leslie, Shan Jayasinghe and Tenika Reuben, all TNT Post employees who are part of the recruitment, training and development and local management teams in London, were presented with the award by the Chair of Trustees, Paulette Rowe.
The award demonstrates the best understanding of the employment issues faced by young people in London. The Mayor's Fund for London charity works to give young Londoners the skills and opportunities to get a decent job and escape the threat of poverty. With the awards being set up to recognise and reward the organisations and individuals who have done the most to provide young Londoners with employment and decent prospects.
Matthew Patten, CEO of Mayor's Fund for London said: "Congratulations to TNT Post, 2014 Employer of the Year, who has done so much to help young Londoners into work."
Following this fantastic achievement, our CEO, Nick Wells, commented: "We are delighted that the hard work our team puts into getting the long term unemployed back into work in London has been recognised. We are passionate about getting young people into sustainable employment."
